Just the other day I was commenting to Sarah about how amazing it is to see Gabriella develop. She is such a smart (and therefore sometimes innocently manipulative) little girl. Just now, I'm at work (yes, very slow week between Christmas and New Years) and the background on my other screen is a picture of Sarah holding Gabs on her lap and Gabriella is looking intently at a Christmas present, grabbing at the bow to start pulling that off.
It seems like just yesterday we would place her in the jungle gym and she would just look at the lights, or maybe start squirming a little bit. Then we would watch her as she started squirming more and growing, so her longer arms would swing and she would hit one of hanging toys and we would get so excited since she was starting to hit them (even though we knew it was by complete accident).
Well now she lays in there and is picking things up, pulling at things, even, just last night Sarah put a teething toy over her eyes and she got confused, then reached up, grabbed it, pulled it off her face, and started playing with it.
It is just so amazing to see how she has grown, become so alert, is gaining more and more coordination. I love it!
