Gabbie's nose, mommy's nose

Today was a great day.  Work has been BUSY!!  Actually busy doesn't even begin to describe it.  However, I wanted to write about 2 other things.

First of all, last week my legs were feeling pretty heavy and I was really feeling slow on the bike.  My ride into work I had my computer bag on my back, but still it was a nice ride.  The ride home felt fresh and wonderful.

Secondly, and even better, Gabbie is catching on to copying things that you do.  You make a noise into a bucket (she loves the echo) and she will make a noise in the bucket.  Sarah was also saying that she now knows how to point at mommy's nose.  Well of course she didn't do it all night.  Then she got done with dinner, and mommy said (pointing at Gabbie's nose)

Sarah: "Gabbie's nose, and mommy's nose. Gabbie's nose, mommy's nose.  Gabbie, where is mommy's nose?  Gabbie, can you find mommy's nose?  Gabbie, mommy's nose?  Momm...

And Gab's reached out and squeezed Sarah's nose like she was playing with a honking bike horn.  SOOO CUTE!!!!

Just another reason to love fatherhood!
