Here are some highlights from our life as Mr. and Mrs. over the past 6 months.
July - July 11, 2008. Our wedding day and amazing, relaxing honeymoon in Yachats Oregon. It was so fun when we were driving down with our decorated car (thanks all) to get people to give us the thumbs up because they were excited for us. Our little "Nest" at Ocean's Haven was amazing. I sure hope we can go back there sometime in the future.
August - Enjoying getting our apartment together to be our first home. Getting the decorations up, finding places for wedding gifts, and adjusting to life together - whether that be my socks sitting by the couch or her make-up in the bathroom and desk or the REALLY long hairs that get stuck in your toes or the times when I have a tummy ache. And who could forget our fun times at the Beach Boy Concert.
September - Re-adjusting to a new type of life once Sarah went back to being a student. It's nicer when she doesn't have to do homework at night - but if she ends up working nights after graduating, I'll probably miss the days of studying. What better way to get away from school than to be able to go up to the cabin for a little weekend respite!
October - Our excitement as "newlyweds" ended quickly when Grandpa Moran said we were just the old married couple now that the family was getting together to celebrate Adam and Michelle's marriage.
November - Uh oh. Here come the in-laws to visit. Mom and Dad came out for Thanksgiving and we had a really enjoyable time with them. We took a road trip over to Leavenworth which they really liked, and of course had some delicious pizza from Pegasus.

December - Well first there was Jack's second birthday, then there were the many reasons we should never forget our first Christmas together. The year when Seattle had a RIDICULOUS amount of snow, ice, rain, and the near death experience on Christmas Day. It was a wonderful Christmas - we may not have been able to just relax together Christmas morning, but we have many more years to start our own traditions.
January - One of these days we will spend New Year's in Seattle. Our first trip of the New Year (granted it started in December) was a little vacation to the Midwest. We were able to see my family, show Sarah a bit of Michigan, spend New Year's Eve with mom, dad and Cayden, and enjoy the travel woes of a night in O'Hare airport.

Here's to the next 6 months and then years upon years of love!
